They have continously harrassed me and my wife with bothering phone calls 10 days before payment is due, we,ve been late on a few payments throughout the loan and constantly asked to give an excuse as to why we are late,I feel as if being treated as a child, its degrading. We were never notified that my contract and rights as a US consumer were bought and transfered like the slave trades that went on in the 17 th century. What has become of the United States of America and we the people? We have asked Santander for a deffered payment to help catch up and was told by the service rep that they would talk to their manager and for us to call them in a few days. when l called them back a few days later l was told that l was denied, and with no reason. This class action lawsuit is a step in the right direction for American justice. This is a part of the so called outsourcing of American jobs 12a6d8a

I recently reported on a different post in a comment about my dilemma?. So to spare from repeating myself I will just tell you an update:. I am pleased to report that the refinancing for my car went through at my own bank, in the end my brother had to put his car up as collateral and cosigned but we got ourselves out of the loan at Santander/. I encourage anyone who has a loan with Santander to see if you can refinance at your own bank that you trust". I have also warned my bank that Santander is shady and facing lawsuits and to be sure they mark the payment as in full when they pay them off and to make sure absolutely sure they are off my car title?. I now have a refinance through my bank of $194 payments each month for 4 yrs, compared to the 2 1/2 years I had left on the Santander loan at $298/.42 each month'. Putting $104 back into my pocket each month that I need for living expenses, and the interest rates were lower because I now qualify for lower interest rates:. Please see if you can refinance at your own bank, it is worth the trouble.

My husband and I had our Auto Loan through CitiFinancial. We were told that Santander would be taking over the loan. About 6months or so back my husband and I ran into a problem and knew we wouldn't be able to make the payment on time. I called Santander and told them what was going on and they said they could change the due date. I spoke with my husband that evening about it and we decided not to change the due date because it would then leave us strapped for money for the rest of the month. I immediatly called Santander back and told them not to change the due date. They said ok and they would put the information in the computer. A month later we got the bill and the due date had been changed. I called them back and asked what happen; they said they changed it per my request even though I had called them and told them not to change it. Every since then we have been behind on the payment and can only pay what we can afford for that month. There have been numerous late fees, processing fees, etc. We are still behind because all of the "extra" fees and I receive anywhere from 10-15 calls a day on my cell starting at 6am and they don't stop until about 10pm. My husband receives the same amount of calls to his cell phone.
