My auto loan was sold to Santander. Payments were due on 25th of each month. Many times I paid on the 30th or the 1st,but BEFORE the grace period ended". I just found out that because payments paid a few days after the 25th,more interest was added/. I've gotten 3 different amounts from 3 different people on their site that I supposedly owed!. I had 2 payments left, totaling $851 & change!. Yet,they said my payoff was over $1000|. They sent me a bill showing a total balance of $564 & change,i paid it online'. Now they're back saying I still owe $10..00? If effect, they have charged me extra interest, even though the payment was made before the grace period and late charge were to go into effect". What is going on with these folks? 12a6e8f

The grace period applies to a late fee assessment, not the accrued interest. Once you are one day late past ur due date you will accrue interest, period. Read ur initial contract it will explain everything.
