I got an auto loan with citifinancial in December 2009". They sold out to Santander and I have nothing but problems ever since Santander took over/. Customer service is terrible, you give them a number to call you and they call you if you are 1 day pass due!. My car loan has gone up!. The loan I took out has increased/. They call all day, they never document information that is given to them.. I am subject to give them back this car|. We are getting rip-off by Santander". Santander has poor services, BIG RIP-OFF, GETTING OUR MONEY, AND IT IS TIME THAT SOMEONE DO SOMETIME ABOUT IT.

So to spare from repeating myself I will just tell you an update:. I am pleased to report that the refinancing for my car went through at my own bank, in the end my brother had to put his car up as collateral and cosigned but we got ourselves out of the loan at Santander/. I encourage anyone who has a loan with Santander to see if you can refinance at your own bank that you trust". I have also warned my bank that Santander is shady and facing lawsuits and to be sure they mark the payment as in full when they pay them off and to make sure absolutely sure they are off my car title?. I now have a refinance through my bank of $194 payments each month for 4 yrs, compared to the 2 1/2 years I had left on the Santander loan at $298/.42 each month'. Putting $104 back into my pocket each month that I need for living expenses, and the interest rates were lower because I now qualify for lower interest rates:. Please see if you can refinance at your own bank, it is worth the trouble. |

They have a business to run as well, thus the collateral you are driving is owned by them until you pay it off. If you pay your car late, interest will accrue per day. So lets say you are late 10 x at, 30 days each, that could be $10 per day in interest based on your loan, 30x10 is $300 for one month of paying late, times 10 times, thats 3k buddy. Educate yourself. |

I want to pay off my truck 1 year and a half early and that according to them will save me like $80!!! and every time I ask for something they are always shady with their answers never upfront. So what I have been doing is doing everything through chat and then at the end copying the conversation and saving it in a file. I am so tired of them!! |
